How to remove dark circles?
If you have dark circles under your eyes then the following tips may help you to remove them:
- Get adequate sleep: Sleeping relieves stress and heals the body. In addition, your eyes work less while you are asleep. It helps to reduce eye strain and dark circles.
- Stay hydrated: If your skin cells are dehydrated then they lose their natural glow. They don’t look very healthy. Moreover, dehydration may cause sunken eyes. A dark circle around a sunken eye looks more prominent. Therefore, at least two liters of fluid intake per day is recommended. If you live in a warm climate and you sweat a lot then you should drink more than two liters of fluid per day.

- Reduce stress: Stress relaxation is very important for skin health. You can use meditation, yoga etc to reduce the stress. Mindfulness, healthy eating and overall healthy living will keep your skin as a whole much younger.
Remedies to remove dark circle
- Wear sunscreen: Sun can make your skin a few shades darker. Therefore apply sunscreen around your eyes when you go outside your home. You may also apply sunscreen if you cook a lot. Sunscreen can give you some protection from the heat waves coming out of your oven.
- Use moisturizer: It is very important particularly if you have dry skin. Moisturizers keep the skin cells properly hydrated and help remove dark circles.
- Apply cucumber paste: You can create cucumber paste using your blender and apply it over your dark circles. It works as a natural moisturizer. In addition, it feels cold, relaxing, and soothing. - Wear big sunglasses: You can wear high sunglasses that cover your entire eye area including your dark circles. It would protect your eyes and darkened areas from sun and heat.
- Use dark circle removing creams: There are many over-the-counter dark circle removal creams or beauty creams. Although medical literature usually does not support using these creams, you can use them if you feel benefited.
- Scrub your skin: You may use gentle scrubs under your eyes to remove dark and dead skin cells. But keep in mind that the skin under your eyes is very delicate.
- Use skin peeling agents: You can use isotretinoin or other chemical peels according to your doctor’s advice to peel off the dead skin cells under your eyes.
